Hayling Island now has the largest Neighbourhood Policing Team that it has ever had. An integral part of the team are the Police Community Support Officers (PCSO). The presence of these officers has allowed the key issue of anti-social behaviour and juvenile nuisance to be targeted resulting in a considerable drop in not just reported incidents but overall crime as well. The Team have various roles including working with local schools and youth projects to help educate young people regarding anti-social behaviour and crime prevention. Hayling Island Neighbourhood Policing Team holds monthly beat surgeries utilising a number of local venues which are advertised. Hayling Island Station is not open to the public. The nearest enquiry office is at Havant Police Station. Should you have a problem in your area that you believe requires police assistance please contact any of the team on 101 or alternatively E-mail hayling.island.snt@hampshire.pnn.police.uk
