2) A new category for "bicycle theft" was created which previously fell within "other theft"
3) A new category for "theft from the person" was created which previously fell within "other theft"
4) Public disorder and weapons were then split into two new categories; "public order" and "possession of weapons"
5) Both "other firearms offences" and "other knives offences" which were in "other crime" were moved into "possession of weapons".

Kenilworth SNT -Warwickshire police are proud to announce that the Safer Neighbourhood Team are back where it belongs in Kenilworth,For a short time we were based at our head quarters in Leek Wooton until the police station , now owned by the town council was renervated. The officers are very pleased to be back in the heart of the town and although members of the public will still have to go to the library to report or recieve information on any police issues , you will see much more of a police presence. The team has their office in Jubilee House and the phone number still remains the same, 01926 684404. If you have more of a priority call 101, and for all emergencies call 999.
We hope that you will engage with us in our usual market surgery held at Abbey End every thurs between 10.30 -12.00 , and dont hesitate to stop any of our community support officers , if you have any issues .
