Hedge End South Neighbourhood comprises of the parishes of Bursledon, Hamble and Hound. The river Hamble has the largest waterside community in the south of England and Project Kraken is Hampshire Constabulary''s response to water related crime, anti-social behaviour, safety and crime prevention. If you would like to find out more about this then please join us on Hampshire Alerts to receive up-to-date information.

The area has a well established PubWatch which is made up of Licensees from the many local pubs and restaurants. We support them to work closely together to deal with drink related issues and make the area safe.

Each area has PCSOs dedicated to addressing anti-social behaviour and working with young people. One of our projects is the Junior PCSO scheme which is run in local schools. This gives young people the change to work and learn alongside their local PCSOs to find out what it takes to be a responsible member of the public and how to be a PCSO!
