The area of Porthleven and Helston North covers seven parishes including Porthleven, Wendron, Crowan, Sithney, Breage Germoe and Gweek.

The coastline and beautiful rural scenery attracts many visitors to the area but gives the local population an attractive area to live in with farming and small holdings playing an important part in community life.

Neighbourhood priorities are identified by the Have Your Say, (HYS), process. HYS is designed to deal with any matter that members of the community consider to be important - not merely policing issues.

These issues can be highlighted at public meetings, by letter or HYS cards. You may also speak dircectly to one of the Neighbourhood Team or a local councillor.

Although there is an increase in population during the holiday seasons the crime rate is not greatly affected though we work closely with partner agencies such as the RNLI to improve public safety during the season.
