The Penwerris ward covers Dracaena Avenue, up to the top of Killigrew St, down to the Moor and up the High St all the way back to the Co-op roundabout, along with everything contained within. The patch consists of commercial premises and part of the town centre, Kimberly Park, private housing sector, social housing sector, and coastline consisting of the Marina, the Royal Yacht Club, and the waterway between Ponsharden and the Prince of Wales Pier. The area is highly populated. This population swells in the tourist seasons, and again during term times due to the Art College, and Marine College.
