Wadebridge and Padstow Community Network Meeting (Teams Meeting) (Meeting)

Community networks:

  • Identify, agree and drive forward local priorities for their community network area
  • Have their say on local service delivery and on strategies that affect their communities
  • Work together to promote the wellbeing of their local areas and bring communities together

The Wadebridge sector encompasses a total of 3 areas-Wadebridge Town, Padstow and Rock,Polzeath Port Isaac. There are 3 Neighbourhood "sites" for you to view for information about these 3 areas.

The population of Wadebridge varies between 8-9,000. Wadebridge continues to expand with new residential properties as well as business developments. The Camel Trail is responsible for bringing approx. 450,000 cyclists through the town each year.

There are 2 primary schools in Wadebridge-St.Breock and Wadebridge, together with Wadebridge Comprehensive which also has Wadebridge College as part of it's facilities.

Wadebridge cand the outlying areas continue to be one of the safest places in Cornwall and England to live.Crime and serious crime reports are very low as are incidents of anti social behaviour. However the fear of crime remains fairly high.

The Neighbourhood Team at Wadebridge has forged good strong partnerships with many partners and agencies including town and parish councils and housing associations. By working together with our partners helps Wadebridge to be the safe place it is today.
