The Economic Policy Centre www.economicpolicycentre.com has made every effort in order to ensure that the data for UkCrimeStats is accurate and up to date. However, we are aware of certain deficiencies in this data which are beyond our control. That's because as a 3rd party developer, we do not collect the data, the Police do who then hand it over to another data company to release to 3rd party developers such as ourselves. We only download and analyse it so that you can use it. For full detail of these deficiencies, please read here.
The area is a mix of rural and more urban communities which can have different issues and needs that affect them. The area has a very healthy spread of schools and businesses.
We recognise the diverse needs and different challenges that this can present especially with rural crime and issues that impact on our more isolated communities.
These are very safe areas to live and work with recorded crime well under the national average.
We work closely with our key partner agencies to tackle issues as they arise and deal promptly with matters such as antisocial behaviour or minor crime applying early intervention and support engaging with people and partners to tackle the real root cause of the issues that do arise.
