The East-The -Water Community is a clearly delineated area of Bideford, sitting to the East of the Torridge River. The north, south and eastern fringes of the East-The-Water are rural/agricultural land.

There is a Community Centre in the heart of East The Water where you will find the Neighbourhood Beat Team Police Office.

In September 2007 a Police Office was opened within the Pollyfield Centre, East The Water.  This has proven to be an excellent facility for community to engage with us.  We are there most Tuesday afternoons so please feel free to call in and see us.  It is used as a patrol base however if you wish to contact us please don't hesitate to call on 101 for non urgent enquiries and when we are back on duty we will contact you.
