And they’re nearly all in London. It’s interesting that these highest accident postcode sectors are typically covering areas with high traffic flow on major roads in urbanised areas. Caveats apply – we don’t know exactly how much traffic there is on these areas so you can’t deflate for the impact of additonal road vehicles, in the same way with crime, you deflate for the size of the population relative to the number of crimes with crime rates.
